Malta 7-Day Itinerary: Malta, Gozo and Comino

A seven-day rhythm

1. Day 1: settle in and explore the nearest waterfront or town.
2. Day 2: Valletta with one or two major interiors.
3. Day 3: Three Cities and harbour history at a slower pace.
4. Day 4: Mdina, Rabat and central Malta.
5. Day 5: a full Gozo day or overnight segment.
6. Day 6: Comino or a beach according to conditions.
7. Day 7: southern Malta, a museum theme or a deliberately slow final day.
8. Move outdoor days around the forecast and current opening notices.

Where should the extra time go?

Choose Comino only with suitable conditions and current access arrangements.

Alternate demanding and light days

Place a slower day after Gozo, Comino or a late night. A week becomes monotonous when every morning starts with a long cross-island transfer.
