Who prepares our guides

All About Malta is responsible for the research, preparation and ongoing review of every guide published on this site.

Question-led review

Each guide is tested against at least three natural reader questions written independently of its headings. Those questions are frozen before revision, so they are not rewritten merely to match the existing draft.

Every question includes evidence requirements appropriate to the subject. These may include names, figures, conditions, documents, steps, costs, responsibilities or links to an official action. A guide is revised until every question receives a direct, practical answer.

Sources and practical links

We prioritise official sources for rules, government services, applications, eligibility, transport, costs and other factual matters. We retain useful official links when readers need to apply, book, pay, calculate, download or verify changing information.

Before publication, we check source links, dates, article structure, the promises made by the title and internal links. Source lists appear with individual guides so readers can inspect the material used.

Keeping our guides up to date

Every guide shows when its information was last checked and when we plan to review it again. These dates help readers understand how recently the guide was reviewed, but prices, schedules, rules and eligibility conditions can still change between reviews.

When changing information affects an important decision, confirm the current details using the first-party source linked in the guide.

Use of AI tools

AI tools may assist with organising research, comparing sources, drafting and revision. They do not replace source verification or the question-led quality checks described above.
